There is nothing to say about WhatsApp. But anyway, here is a recap. WhatsApp is the best text messaging service and app which is available for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Nokia S60, Nokia S40 and Windows Phone. You can send and receive text message on WhatsApp to and from your friends without any cost. But no, this is not free yet since you need data connection to run WhatsApp and a yearly subscription.
However Windows 7 is one of the best OS out there. Even though there are few other Operating Systems like Windows 8, Linux but nothing could beat Windows 7 because this is very easy to use and it is bug free. On other end, Mac OS X is another advanced OS for Mac users.
Anyway, apart from using this app only on various mobiles, if you wish to run WhatsApp on Windows 7 or Mac OS X computer, you should follow this guide which is very simple and not yet so time spender.
- OS: Windows XP SP3 or later version and OS X
- .Net Framework 2.0+
- 4GB of RAM [to run without clutter]
How to run WhatsApp on Windows 7 or Mac OS X?
You know that previously I mentioned that you need an emulator and today I am going to use BlueStacks which is a light-weight and free app.
At first download the installer from BlueStacks website. Therefore, you have to install that on your PC.
Then make a search for WhatApps in BlueStacks and install that under BlueStacks.
After that, open WhatsApp from the emulator. Now you have to select your country and enter phone number.
Now you get a message from WhatsApp which will contain a verification code. Enter that on WhatsApp and you have done.
You will get everything what you need in this app. Just press the Options button to get all settings. Under the settings page, you can manage contacts, chat settings, notifications and so on.
That’s all! Hope this tutorial will help you a lot to run WhatsApp on Windows 7 and Mac OS X. If you have any question, feel free and do let us know.
