Office 2013 is a developed version of Office 2010 package and Microsoft is selling it at very low cost. You can simply buy it by spending either $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. It will be compatible with your Windows 7, Windows 8 and Mac OS X computer. Means this is for next generation.
I have been using this package for a few while and the first problem that you will face is cluttered start screen. Really it is very confusing for a regular folk. Whenever you will try to open Microsoft Office Word/Excel or PowerPoint, you will come across to a metro like start screen which makes it easy to create a blank document, watch the introduction of Word/Excel, open document for icon designing, Facet designing and more others. There is no doubt that it is very helpful for most of the people who use this app at different purposes.
But I use MS Word to write only articles for this blog. Else, I don’t do anything using it and sometime I use it to edit any text file. That’s all! So, if you are like me and are facing some problems due to this, just uncheck a setting and bypass start screen of Office Word 2013.
How to bypass star screen of office word 2013?
This is however very easy and not yet so time-consuming. Just open your Office Word and navigate to File >> Options. Then pick out Show the start screen when this application starts under General and uncheck that.
Now save your changes and that’s all.
Hope this article would help you a lot. If you have any question, feel free and do let us know.
Note: I have checked it on Word and Excel but I am sure that it also works on PowerPoint. But I don’t recommend you to disable this start screen on PowerPoint because you need different layouts on PowerPoint to customize your slides.
