You know that Office 2013 aka Office 365 is the newest version of Microsoft Office series which comes with tons of new options. You could get SkyDrive synchronization, lot of free space at SkyDrive, vivid design in PowerPoint and many more. The most annoyed new feature is Typing Animation, obviously it appears when you are typing on Word, Excel, OneNote or anything else.
Sometime it is prodigious when you can’t type deprived of seeing the keyboard but it is much frustrating for them who can type anything without seeing the keyboard. There might have tons of other snags of you by this tiny new thing. So, if you want to get rid of this typing animation, just follow the following steps after one by one.
I don’t know whether there is any software or not to stop this animation but today I shall use Registry Editor to do so.
How to disable typing animation of office 2013?
This is however very easy. You don’t have to use any third party tool since it could have done by making use of Registry Editor.
So, open your Registry Editor. Press Win+R and type regedit and hit enter. Then select YES on UAC.
Note:- Don’t forget to create backup of your existed Registry files. It prevents any system crash.
After that, navigate to the following arena;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >> Office >> 15.0 >> Common
Under Common, create a new key and name it Graphics.
Under Graphics, create new DWORD (32-bit) Value and name it DisableAnimation.
Then double click on it and set 1 as Hexadecimal value.
Now close the Registry Editor and restart your machine.
That’s all! Hope this tutorial will help you a lot.
If you want to get back the animation again, just navigate to the aforementioned arena again and delete whatever you have made before. Thanks How-To-Geek.
