You know that Microsoft has two great gadgets which are under surface series. Yesterday, they have unveiled two other gadgets which will be the next version of those previous gadgets. Surface series is widespread between US. It comes with latest version of Windows but there were so many problems like you can’t use it as a tablet or very bad battery backup etc. But now, in these two upgrades i.e. Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2, all those problems have gone.
Introducing Surface 2:
I don’t want to give you all the details or hardware/software specification at here. Instead of that, I would like to introduce new features those will be available in this gadget. You know that Microsoft Surface has a kickstand by which you can use that as a stand or you can use that as a laptop. Previously there was only angel which could be set with that kickstand when now you can set that in two different angles, according to your sitting style.
The second problem was battery. Earlier version was not yet able to give a better performance when Surface 2 could give you up to 10 hours of non-stop battery backup. This new Surface 2 will arrive with NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. That means it will be ready for anything with super-fast mode. On the other end, now you can get 1080p screen with Office 2013RT and Outlook 2013RT.
It has full-size USB 3.0 and an additional microSD reader. The next big thing is SkyDrive. It will provide you 200GB of free space but only for 2 years. Here is not the end, you will also get covers to type faster.
Introducing Surface Pro 2:
For this Surface Pro 2, I won’t change the pattern. I mean, I will tell you only new features those come with this new version. You will get Intel i5 processor which will provide you better performance. In this gadget, Microsoft Office is also free to use. 512GB of flash storage will be there to use your Surface Pro 2 offline.
Just like Surface 2, it also has full-size USB 3.0 and an additional port for microSD card along with Mini DisplayPort so that you can project a big screen. Here, you will also get an advantage of this latest Intel processor to get long battery life.
Alike Surface 2, there will be two different angles for kickstand to use that according to your requirements. Here, also 200GB of SkyDrive space is free for 2 years.
Availability:
Although Microsoft has announced them yesterday but they won’t be available for consumers before early 2014. But you can order them before at $449 and $899 respectively.
