What is new in new iMac?
“iMac continues to be the example that proves how beautiful, fast and fun a desktop computer can be” said by Philip Schiller, Senior vice president of worldwide marketing of Apple.
The display is stripper, brighter and covered by anti-light reflector. The 21.5 inch iMac comes with 2.7 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor. But don’t worry, if you need faster than i5 processor, you can simply switch to quad-core Intel core i7 processor with 3.5 GHz and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M graphics.
It is really great with 8GB of RAM and you can obviously upgrade it at up to 32GB. Both iMac versions i.e. 21.5inch and 27inch, comes with mercury free and arsenic free LED display. Means you should not have any problem like eye straining with this new desktop.
The 27inch version of iMac comes with quad-core Intel Core i5 processors up to 3.4GHz. You will also get NVIDIA GeForce 700 series graphics which will be 40% faster than previous versions.
Any new iMac user can upgrade his/her computer to quad-core Intel Core i7 processors up to 3.5GHz and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M series graphics with up to 4GB of video memory.
The next big thing is next generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Your iMac could provide wireless connection when it is connected to an 802.11ac base station. It also has four USB 3.0 ports and two Thunderbolt ports.
There are four types of iMac which are obtainable at any Apple Store.
21.5-inch, 2.7GHz:- $1,299.00
21.5-inch, 2.9GHz:- $1499.00
27-inch, 3.2GHz:- $1799.00
27-inch, 3.4GHz:- $1999.00
