Just open the app section from the start screen of your Windows 8.1 PC and select the app of which you want to change the icon or rename. [Do right click to select. Left click won’t select] Then select the option that says Open File Location.
Then right click on that selected app and go to Properties. After that, select Change Icon button.
Now you have to select an icon. You can either use given icon or custom icon.
