IFTTT made it simpler to do something online. Millions of people create tons of recipe to do something quicker. Even I have previously mentioned how you can send new Gmail messages to SkyDrive and download Instagram video to Google Drive via IFTTT.
Actually, using of IFTTT is very easy and it doesn’t take much time to create and set up a recipe to do something even more faster. You know that Twitter is one of the best social networking sites out there. Although this is pretty different from other social networking sites like Facebook, Google Plus etc. but the popularity of this site is not less than them.
On the other end, Google Drive is also a great cloud storage, which is provided by Google. Previously, I mentioned so many tutorials using Google Drive but today I am going to use this storage to download your tweets.
Twitter allows users to download all tweets in an archive but IFTTT can provide more options that in-built Twitter feature.
How to save new tweets in Google Drive?
This is however very easy and not yet much time spending task to create such a recipe. Go to IFTTT website and sign in with your sign in information. After that create such a recipe that will be looking something like the following picture;
As a trigger, you can select the follow options;
- New tweet by you
- New tweet by you with hashtag
- New link by you
- New favorite tweet by you
And more others.
On the other end, you can also include retweets and @replies as well.
That’s all!
Quick Note:
A regular recipe works once in each 15 minutes. Therefore, obviously your recipe won’t work immediately.
