Chrome doesn’t require any introduction because this is one of the best web browser ever. Previously I mentioned so many tutorials around Google Chrome and today I am here to show how you can prevent your kid from being unhealthy by using useless sites.
Previously I introduced so many applications including HT Employee Monitor, Kids Place and many more. Today’s tutorial is pretty same because it is also a part of parental control but it would not give your control on all over the PC. It will just help you to prevent your kid from being accessed few sites using Chrome Supervised user account.
Note: I have tried this trick personally on Chrome 32 (Beta Release) and I am not sure whether it will be working on stable version or not.
How to block domain using Chrome Supervised user account?
This is however very easy. Before starting all the trick, please make sure that you have signed in to Chrome. After that go to Chrome settings page and click the “Add new user” button under “Users”.
In this page, enter a username and select “This is a supervised user managed by firstname.lastname@example.org”.
Then, open Chrome using the new user account and go to https://www.google.com/settings/chrome/manage.
(Now you might have to sign in again)
The next step to click the “Manage” button in your top right area.
Here you have to enter the domain name that you would like to block. Select “All of the web” and “Block entire domain” and save your settings.
Now whenever anyone open the site, he/she will be greeted to the following error message.
That’s all! Hope it will help you a lot. Thanks Addictivetips
