Ever since Apple has made its entry in the global market, there has not been a single time when it hasn’t been in the top news, either for its new and amazing features or the price range announced. The latest wearable being Apple Watch introduced in the month of September 2014, a lot of speculation has surrounded the product since then. The only cost detail Apple has given was that the base price would be $349 and would go up from here.
Some other speculations reveal that the Apple Watch edition may cost $10,000 or even $20,000. Here are some of the predictions for prices of Apple Watch. Note that most of them come in two sizes ie. 38mm and 42mm and fall under the price range of $349 to $19,999. Also, separate band will be available at a nominal cost of $49, $99 or $149.
Apple Watch Pricing List and Specifications:
- Apple Watch Sport with Silver Aluminum case comes in a White, Blue, Green or Pink Fluororlastomer band. The watch is expected to be sold at base price of $349. While 38mm band would cost $349, the 42mm band could be bought at $379.
- Apple Watch Sport with Space Gray Aluminum case and a Black Fluoroelastomer band that comes in two sizes – 38mm and 42mm, ranges between $399 and $429.
- Apple Watch with Silver Stainless Steel case and a White or Black Fluoroelastomer band could cost people from $599 through $699.
- Apple Watch with Silver Stainless Steel case and a Black Leather Classic Strap stands in the middle range segment and can cost somewhere around $649 to $749 a piece.
- Apple Watch with Silver Stainless Steel case and a Stone, Blue or Light Brown Leather Loop (42mm) can cost $749.
- 38mm Apple Watch with Silver Stainless Steel case and a Soft Pink, Midnight Blue or Brown Modern Leather Strap will cost $699.
- Apple Watch with Silver Stainless Steel case and a Silver Stainless Steel Milanese Loop falls in the price range of $799 (38mm) and $899 (42mm). Note this band is not sold separately, but replacements will be available.
- As we move above in the price range, Apple Watch with Silver or Space Black Stainless Steel case and a Silver or Space Black Stainless Steel Link Bracelet can cost a person $899 or $999 depending upon band size.
- Apple Watch Edition with Yellow or Rose 18K Solid Gold case and a White Fluoroelastomer with Rose Gold Pin or Black Fluoroelastomer with Yellow Gold Pin band costs $5,999 for 38mm band and $6,999 for 42mm band. The bands are not sold separately, but their replacements will be available.
- While 38mm Apple Watch Edition with Yellow 18K Solid Gold case and a Midnight Blue Classic Leather Strap with Yellow Gold Pin will cost $6,999, the 42mm one can be bought at a price of $7,999.
- Apple Watch Edition with Yellow or Rose 18K Solid Gold case and a Rose Gray Modern Leather Strap with Rose Gold Pin or Red Modern Leather Strap with Yellow Gold Pin comes in one size ie. 38mm and will cost $7,999
- One can buy 38mm Apple Watch Edition with Rose 18K Solid Gold case and a Rose 18K solid gold Solid Gold Link Bracelet at a price of $16,999. While on the other hand 42mm stands at a price of $19,999.
To sum up the entire pricing speculation, Apple should revise the prices again before their official announcement.
