Well, We are just a week away from the public release of iOS 9 and this OS has already got its first update which fixes numerous bugs at present in the iOS 9. iOS 9.0.1 predominantly focuses on fixing numerous bugs in this update.
Here is the change log for the iOS 9.0.1 release:
- Fixes an issue where some users could not complete setup assistant after updating
- Fixes an issue where alarms and timers could fail to play
- Fixes an issue in Safari and Photos where pausing a video could cause the paused frame to appear distorted
- Fixes an issue where some users with a custom APN setup via a profile would lose cellular data
We recently also have found bugs in the Setup assistant which probably the update has finally fixed. After updating to iOS 9, many users who tried to press “continue” to walk through the Setup-assistant, has their iPhone’s lock-up and get stucked in a bug loop. Well, If you have went through this stuff in your iDevice then you probably had to download and install this new iOS 9.0.1 update via iTunes.
Also, as iOS 9.0.1 is comparably a minor update after iOS 9. Apple is also expected to introducing more such bug fixes and some more new features with iOS 9.1. A second beta of this upcoming iOS 9.1 was released for developers yesterday.
This iOS 9.0.1 update is available through OTA as well as iTunes for every iDevice running at iOS 9, which includes iPhone 4S or newer, iPad Mini, iPad 2 or newer and the 5th and 6th Gen iPod Touch.
