ASUS has not been around in the smartphone market as much of a competition for a long time but has been gaining up with its Zenfone range of smartphones which like most smartphones of today’s date offer the user a feature rich experience while not burning a hole in his pocket. Another such device which Asus unveiled today from their Zenfone range is the Zenfone Go.
Asus ZenFone Go launched in India at INR 7999
Talking about the latest offering from ASUS, the Zenfone Go boasts of a 5-inch HD LCD display with a resolution of 720 X 1080p chalking out 294 ppi. On the back of the smartphone you’ll find an 8 MP shutter accompanied by an LED flash while on the front side of the smartphone rests a 2 MP camera unit.
Under the hood of the smartphone you’ll find a Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at a decent 1.3 GHz paired with 2 GB of RAM. The Zenfone Go also has 8 GB of onboard storage which can be bumped up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
Powering the device is a 2070 mAh battery which Zenfone claims will last you through the day but this is something we have doubts on. The device runs on the Zen UI based on Android 5.1
The Zenfone Go is priced at a decent INR 7,999 which pitches it as a competitor to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Prime and the Lenovo A6000.
If you wish to get your hands on the Go, you can order it online thorough Flipkart or go and get it yourself from an Asus retail store. If you do get one let us know in the comments below how the device feels in hand and performs.
