Gionee Pioneer P3S launched in India, priced at INR 5,999

In the range of Affordable 3G smartphones in India, Gionee added its contribution. Gionee launched its affordable 3G smartphone named Pioneer P3S. Gionee Pioneer P3S is released in India with the price tag of INR 5,999. It will hit the retail floors later this weekend. This smartphone will be available in three different colour options like Golden, Red and Gray.

Gionee Pioneer P3S will come with a 4.5 inch FWVGA Display and powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. On the memory side, this smartphone will come with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage capacity, which is expandable via a MicroSD card. For the mobile photographers, Gionee added a 5 MP rear camera and VGA Front camera. This is very disappointing that Gionee is giving such camera specifications.

The Gionee Pioneer P3S smartphone will get its juice from 2,000 mAh battery which gives extended backup when used with extreme power saver mode. Connectivity wise, Gionee P3S comes with Dual-SIM Slots, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth run with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

At this price point, we can get a better smartphone, which is 4G supported and with better camera quality.

Some Competitors of Gionee Pioneer P3S

Gionee Pioneer P3S VS YU YUnique VS Lenovo A2010 VS Phicomm Energy 653
There are many competitors for this smartphone such as Yu Yunique which comes with 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera only for INR 4,999/-. This smartphone is not good for Budget smartphone series because we think it is overpriced. All competitors of this smartphone, like Yu Yunique, Lenovo A2010 and Philcomm Energy 653 comes with a better camera and 4G LTE Support, that too for INR 1,000 cheaper. It will be hard for this smartphone to sustain in the market with such a stiff competitors who have better specifications and comes with a price lower than this smartphone.
