The Honor brand from Huawei largely targets on the budget segment of the Android Smartphones industry, and largely wins in impressing buyers who wants an Android Smartphone with great hardware and software performance without actually emptying their wallet.
Huawei recently announced the Honor 4X Android Smartphone in India, which for the price at which it is being sold, goes into a direct competition with other popular Android Smartphones under the same price point such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, and the YU Yureka. But what does sets the Honor 4X apart from the rest of the competitors? Or is it worth buying this Smartphone as opposed to the rest? Well, here we are today with a detailed review of the Huawei Honor 4X to answer all of your queries regarding it.
Huawei Honor 4X Review:
The Huawei Honor 4X weighs in at 165 grams, is 8.7 mm thick and is made of plastic with a textured back panel. In terms of size, the Honor 4X is indeed a big enough device to handle single handedly.
The Honor 4X is powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor running at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, and is 64 bit enabled. There is also 2 GB of RAM provided for smooth performance. The internal storage space provided is just of 8 GB, however, it can be expanded via an external SD card up to an additional 32 GB.
The Honor 4X has a 13 MP primary camera and a 5 MP secondary camera as well. The battery unit provided within the device is of 3000 mAh and it also supports 4G LTE connectivity along with other connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi a/b/g/n and WiFi Direct.
The device runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system and there is Huawei’s custom Emotion 3.0 user interface on top.
The 13 MP primary camera unit provided in the Honor 4X is good enough to impress anyone, however, considering the competition from other Smartphones under similar pricing, the performance of the rear camera unit on the Honor 4X is really good. Even the 1080p Full HD videos recorded by the 13 MP rear camera is what I liked most in this phone.
The 5 MP secondary camera provided is good enough for selfies, and the beautify mode included in the secondary camera mode helps in getting the perfect selfie you have always waited for.
In terms of performance, thanks to the Snapdragon 410 processor fitted in the Honor 4X, the device swifts easily through heavy multi tasking and high end gaming without any lags or stutters.
The Huawei Honor 4X, according to us, gives the best battery backup as compared to any of its competitors. Thanks to the 3,000mAh battery unit that has been provided with the device, you can easily get minimum a day worth of battery backup without the need of charging your device.
Final Words
Even though the Honor 4X is somewhat a bit more pricy than its main rivals, the device certainly will not disappoint anyone, thanks to its commendable performance, great battery life and almost good camera performance.
