The Search Engine Giant, Google launched an app for Delhi people. This is the Delhi Public Transport App with which you can access Google Maps, Transit directions to certain locations, Metro and Public transport timetable. This app can be used offline or even on Slow connections which will help people of the national capital to get easier access to all information about public transport options.
This is the experimental app from Google, which will be used with slow internet connections and even offline if data connection cannott be accessed. The Delhi Public Transport App from Google makes the direction and time-table of Metro railway and Public Buses, and make it offline to access whenever the user wants to access it. Google India said that, Once a user downloads the app, it will not use any internet data for getting directions and timetables. All timetables are pre-loaded into this app. But, as Google India said in a statement, The Delhi Public Transport App will use only 1KB data per day to get news alerts and to load the updates in time-table. Also, if the user want to send the feedback about this app, it will consume roughly 100KB of Data.
This app is made to help users access timetables of public transport services in Delhi. The Google India said that this app will use data collected from DMRC Metro, DTC Buses, DIMTS Orange buses and Gurgaon Rapid Metro.
