Hardware Specifications of Vivo V3 Max:
To begin with, the hardware specifications of the Vivo V3 Max is quite impressive to say the least. The device features a 5.5 inch 1080p Full HD IPS LCD display with 401 PPI and the display is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass for impact and scratch protection.

Powering the device is a 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 652 processor along with 4 GB of RAM. The internal storage space provided is of 32 GB wherein you can also pop in an external SD card to increase the storage to an additional 128 GB.
The rear facing primary camera is of 13 MP resolution with autofocus and LED flash, and there is also a front facing selfie shooter of 8 MP.
The whole package is powered by a 3000 mAh non removable battery unit.

Design and Other Features:
Gone are the days when Smartphones were built out of poly carbonate materials. Nowadays even Smartphones oriented towards budget buyers comes with a premium metal built.
Same is the case of the Vivo V3 Max. Being a mid range Android Smartphone, the device features a metal unibody design, and the metal used in building the Smartphone is an alloy of Aluminium and Magnesium, giving the Smartphone sturdiness and a smooth feel in hand.

The device is also quite slim and light at 7.58 mm and 168 grams respectively, considering that the V3 Max features a 5.5 inch display and a 3000 mAh battery.
Talking about the other features within the device, the device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop software version and also has a custom UI from Vivo on top of Android, called the Funtouch 2.5 UI.
There is also a dedicated fingerprint scanner in the rear center of the Smartphone and there is also a dedicated AK4375 chipset for enhanced music experience. The device also supports fast charging with Quick Charge 3.0, which means you can fill up to 50% of the 3000 mAh battery on your Vivo V3 Max in just about 30 minutes flat.

Performance:
Even though the Vivo V3 Max features a rather mid range chipset, the Snapdragon 652 clocked in at 1.8 GHz, the 4 GB of RAM provided in the device is quite enough to run through several applications at once in your Android device or even play high end Android games without any sort of lags or stutters.
Where the Vivo V3 Max is a let down is in terms of battery backup. Even though the device features a 3000 mAh battery unit, the battery drain is quite drastic. You can take the V3 Max through a whole day with just mediocre usage, however, once you start spending hours on gaming, web browsing or watching movies, you will end up needing to plug in your device for charging more than once a day.

Final Words:
For the price at which it sells, the Vivo V3 Max is a pretty good buy considering the metal built, hardware specifications and list of other features.
However, power users might need to look elsewhere simply because the battery performance of the device is not promising enough. This problem can again be sorted out, thanks to the fast charging capability that comes with the device. With just half hour of charge, you can get up to 50% of battery backup.
