How to Enable Two Step Authentication in LinkedIn Account [newest Feature of LindedIn]

Here is a good news for LinkedIn users that Linkedin has recently announced their security update which is known as Two step verification which will be done through a mobile number. You know that now a days, every online networking sites such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, online note taking apps i.e. Evernote, even WordPress offers you to enable two step authentication which is based on SMS.

Two step verification is nothing but an additional security layer that helps users to protect their privacy as well as entire account from hackers. Each time on logging in you will get a code on your verified mobile number to fully log in to account. Except that code, you will be unable to log in. and the same security layer has been came in LinkedIn tomorrow (31st may 2013).

How to enable two step authentication in LinkedIn?

This is however very easy to activate. At first, sign in to your account and go to Settings page. Then choose Account and manage security settings respectively.

Click the Turn On button.

Enter the correct country and mobile number. [Note:- Please enter a valid number where you will get the secret code on each signing in.]

After a few seconds, you will receive a SMS which will contain the secret code that you have to enter in the next screen on your PC.
