Ultimate Guide to Customize Window of Windows 8.1 using WindowBlinds

Windows 8.1 will be unveiled by 18th of October, 2013 and we are using the release preview version till date. There might/will have tons of new features in this version of Microsoft Windows but we always prefer Windows 7 to use since there are so many great features like great appearance, graphics, audio quality, gaming performance and so on. Previously, we covered an article with some tips to customize Windows 7.

As we have to take care of every users, we also have to do something for Windows 8.1 users. We can replace existing background wallpaper of folder in Windows XP, 7, Vista etc. but Windows 8 or 8.1 do not allow this. We have to use a third party app. On the other end, if you are a Windows 7 fan but want to use Windows 8.1, you can simply change the looks of this version of Windows.  Here is a tool which is known as Windowblinds v.8 that provide every rights to change the appearance of Windows 8.1 and make your PC looks like Windows 7.

Introducing WindowBlinds to customize window of Windows 8.1:

Although it is a paid app but you can try it for 30 days as a trial pack. It is being developed by StarDock software company. Just grab a copy of WindowBlinds and start using it.

Change Window Border:

It allows users to change the default Window border. It is obvious that if someone doesn’t like Windows 8/8.1, Window border is one of the reasons. You can use different borders like Arsenic, Corporate, Diamond (like Windows 7), Echo, Lantana, Win8, Precision, Win8 Metro. It is possible to download other skins too.

Style:

Style means you can change the appearance of texturing, coloring etc.

Color:

Color contains some sub-options as well as. You can change the opacity of Window, fonts. This is also possible to change font according to specific style (what I mentioned in above point).

Texture:

Texture tab will help you to change the border default color. You know that you every Windows OS offers users to change the Window border from Appearance section. But you can’t set any texture or anything else as window border except solid color or transparency. But now you can set texture as border by making use of this WindowBlinds.

Background:

You can change folder background of Windows XP or Windows 7 without installing software but 8 or 8.1 users can’t do so. If you don’t want to use white background, use this app to change folder background. There are so many textures and you can also create your own texture to add.

There are also some tiny features of this app but I can’t elaborate them all right here. So, I would recommend you to use this app on your Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 RP PC.
