It is a dual-SIM device that runs an Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the company’s own InLife User interface. It has a 4.2-inch WXGA LTPS TFT LCD display. It has a 768×1280 pixels resolution which roughly translates into 355ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1 GB of RAM is an additional advantage. Connectivity:

On the connectivity front, the device has a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. The added features of the smartphone are like Gesture Control, TV-Direct Mode and pre-installed Meitu-Beauty-FX app. The key highlights of the M2 are its cameras. With the given budget set the user is getting an 8MP front and rear cameras. Both the rear and front cameras come with a LED flash and auto-focus capabilities. Users will be pretty pleased with the device’s sound output as well.

But if one digs in further,at 135×64.5 x11.1mm and 145g, the M2 is quite large and heavy. While the device is quite muscular for its price, the quality of plastic used here, particularly of the power button and volume button, appears to be substandard and flimsy. The rear consists of removable plastic. It has a rubbery feel to it and is prone to smudging very easily. The lower end of the display houses three capacitive buttons that are non-backlit and offer only satisfactory tactile feedback. The M2 comes with an LED notification light. While the UI was fairly responsive and lag free, there were minor delays in opening and closing of apps.
