The South Korean giants have recently launched Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in the Indian mobile market and it is already grabbing eye balls. Before the launch of Galaxy S6 Edge apple owners have launched the iPhone 6 which has created a lot of buzz in the market. Both the devices are high end smartphones who boasts of features that are worth the money, but which is better, The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge or the Apple iPhone 6? By comparing the features we surely can conclude the results.

The first thing that comes in mind while looking at a smartphone is the display features. The Galaxy S6 edge has a 5.1 inch which has a superAMOLED panel. The iPhone 6 features a 4.7 IPS display. Though both the devices offer a wide range of display (for the first time in iPhone’s) but the Galaxy S6 edge leaves the apple iPhone far behind in terms of resolution. The edged design in the Galaxy S6 edge offers a much better performance specially while using the slide out menus along the edges. Samsung’s panel is much sharper than the Apple’s iPhone 6.
Both the devices boasts the latest and updated version of android and iOS. It is just the matter of choice in this matter whether the user wants a flexible android system or a much refined and easy iOS. In terms of special features as well Samsung Galaxy S6 wins the race. The Galaxy S6 edge retains some of the older features from Note edge and also introduced the slide out menus basically called the hamburger menus. With the given user interface these slide out menus are a major attraction and works amazingly well. The Apple iPhone 6 lays stress on ease and comfort with no major shifts in the user interface from the earlier Iphone models. It also has the motion tracking feature.
The Apple devices never had any issues with performance. Same is the case with Apple iPhone 6. There is no lag while shifting from one app to another continuously using it. Opening and closing applications are quite fast. A fully charged Iphone 6 works for around 11-12 hours. Killing a few background applications and setting the brightness to auto can help contributing to battery life up to 2-3 hours. It does not imply that Samsung galaxy S6 edge lags behind in this matter. Switching from one application to another was butter smooth and the battery life is also quite impressive. A fast charger can charge the device in 30 minutes from 0% to 50%.
The Galaxy S6 boasts a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The apple iphone 6 has an 8 megapixel camera. If we compare the pictures the Galaxy S6 definitely is better. So if I am a Iphone user I can sell my iphone for a brand new Samsung galaxy S6 Edge which offers better camera, performance and comfort. The Samsung device boasts of every feature that is worth flaunting.
