As you all know Apple’s September 9 event is just mere 4 hours away starting at sharp 10AM PDT / 1PM ET at Graham Bell Civic Auditorium where they will probably unveil the all new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus and also the Apple TV with Some iPad series too.
As we have mentioned in our earlier post, Apple had sent out media invites few days ago with a tag line: ” Hey Siri, Give us a hint“. Apple have also announced that there will also be a live streaming of the event as it happens every year, and people can watch the same on their iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android/Windows Smartphone etc.
Below we have mentioned the instructions you need to follow in order to watch the event live.
How to watch Apple’s September 9 Launch Event Live:
1) Android/Windows 8.1 or lower Users:
There is a workaround to watch the live stream of the event on Windows or even on an Android device. We will update the post with the steps just before the event, so don’t forget to check this post on the day of the event.
Well there’s no such browser in Android or Windows smartphone to watch the event live but still there’s some workaround with which you can watch it live on any of your device with the help of VLC Player, you might be aware of. Please go through the steps written below:
- First of all Download VLC(Video LAN media player)
- For Windows users
- For Android users
- After downloading, Open the application and Navigate to “Media” Tab.
- From Media Tab select ‘Open Network Stream’.
- Copy-paste the following below link in the URL field and Press Play.
Note: This is the direct location to the stream (which is the stream Apple TV uses internally)http://p.events-delivery.apple.com.edgesuite.net/15pijbnaefvpoijbaefvpihb06/m3u8/atv_mvp.m3u8If the above url doesn’t work, try this url: http://www.apple.com/live/
Note: The LIVE Stream URL mentioned above might not work until the event has started. So Please wait till that time. Refresh the stream once the video has begun.
2) Windows 10 Users:
For Windows 10 Users, You can watch this event live only on the Microsoft Edge Browser which comes packed with the Windows 10 OS. Just head over to the Microsoft Edge Browser and type in: http://www.apple.com/live/
3) Apple TV Users:
Well If you are an Apple TV 3 or Apple TV 2 user with an Apple TV Software 5.0.2 or later then you just need to navigate to “Apple Events” Channel which is having the September 9 Event logo on the main menu and watch the event live on your television. Also note that Apple Events Channels aren’t yet available currently but it should roll out on the day of the event.
4) Mac Users:
If you guys are planning to watch the event on your Mac then just head over to the Safari browser and go to: http://www.apple.com/live/
5) iPhone, iPad or iPod touch Users:
If you plan to watch the same on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch then head over to safari browser and go to the same URL as mentioned with the mac: http://www.apple.com/live/
