Smartphone manufacturer Vertu is well known by people around the globe for bringing out premium luxury smartphones that are not only a pleasure to watch and use but also cost a fortune. They are now in the news again for bringing out their latest offering, the Signature Touch.
Talking about the device, it boasts of top notch specs and a truly solid and premium build. The device boasts of a full-HD (1080 p X 1920 p) display measuring 5.2-inches which results to 412 ppi. On the back rests an f/2.2 aperture 21 MP camera unit paired with a dual tone LED flash for clicking pictures in the dark. The front camera is a 2.1 MP unit to cater to all the selfie enthusiasts. An interesting gesture of this one heck of a smartphone is that the rear camera is protected by two metal Gull-Wing doors placed on each side of the camera lens.
Going inside the device, you’ll find it is backed up by a 64-bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with 4 GB of RAM making it a true flagship in every sense. The device boasts of 64 GB of onboard storage space which can be bumped upto a staggering 2 TB via a micro SD card for when they make one that big. Front facing speakers with Dolby Digital Plus support will be a delight to hear music on.

Other specs of the device include 4G support, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and GPS. All these things out together are powered by a sufficient 3160 mAh Li-ion powerhouse which will be more than enough to last your day.
We weren’t kidding when we said the Vertu Signature Touch will cost you a fortune. The device will cost you something between GBP 6,500 to GBP 13,700 which converts to INR 650,000 to a whopping INR 1,380,000 depending on the type of leather you want on the phones back. You can choose from a total of 8 different types of leather which are: Jet Calf, Garnet Calf, Grape Lizard, Pure Jet Lizard, Jet Alligator, Pure Navy Alligator, Clous de Paris Alligator and Pure Jet Red Gold. The device will be up for pre-ordering from 28th September to the 8th of October in select company outlets.
The Vertu Signature Touch truly sounds like a premium smartphone with all the specs of a present day flagship on paper. We’ll have to wait till someone gets hold of one and reviews it for us which will take quite some time as the GBP 13,700 price tag is not going to attract customers like normal flagship smartphones do.
