Coolpad unveils Note 3; First affordable fingerprint scanner smartphone

Chinese smartphone maker, Coolpad launched their new smartphone in Indian market, “CoolPad Note 3“. This smartphone will be sold via Amazon India for INR 8,999. Interested buyers can register for the first sale of this smartphone, which will be held on October 20. This smartphone was already launched in China in July 2015. The Coolpad Note 3 is the modified version of the Chinese variant.

The Coolpad Note 3 is a smartphone with 5.5 inch HD IPS Display with viewing angle up to 178 degrees. This smartphone is powered by a 64 bit MediaTek MTK6753 processor, which is coupled with a 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. The internal storage capacity is 16GB and it can be expanded up to 64GB via a MicroSD Card.

On the camera front, this smartphone has a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5 element lens and CMOS Sensor for better image quality. The front camera of this smartphone is of 5 MP. This smartphone will get its juice from a 3,000 mAh battery and available in two color options, i.e., White and Black. The interesting feature of this smartphone is a fingerprint sensor. The sensor is said to have 360 degree fingerprint rotation support and can quickly recognize fingerprints in 0.5 seconds.

The Coolpad Note 3 is a 4G LTE supported smartphone. Also, it comes with various connectivity options such as, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. This smartphone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, covered with CoolUI 6.0. The smartphone is priced at INR 8,999, and will go on sale from October 20 exclusively via Amazon.in
