After unveiling their new offerings, the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P Google has now turned to the Indian market and intriduced these phones to the Indian customers for sale via e-commerce websites Amazon and Flipkart.
Talking about the smartphones, bith the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P run on the latest version of Google’s homegrown OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow that bring a lot of new features and “never seen before”.
Starting with the LG Nexus 5X, it boasts of a 5.2-inch screen with full HD resolution with a 12.3 MP snapper on the back and a 5 MP unit on the front. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC paired with 2 GB RAM. Powering this device is a decent 2,700 mAh battery.
Moving on to the elder sibling, the Huawei Nexus 6P comes with a full metal body that is definitely a first in the Nexus family. It comes with a larger 5.7-inch quadHD display. The rear snapper on this one is the same 12.3 MP as on the 5X but the front camera has been bumped upto 8 MP. Under the hood you will find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 chipset paired with 3 GB of RAM. The Huawei Nexus 6P is powered by a 3,450 mAh battery.
Both the devices run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and are the first devices to do so. These devices also feature a fingerprint scanner located on the device’s back under the camera lens which is also a never seen before feature in the Nexus family.

“India is now the fastest growing smartphone market in the world, and it’sexciting to launch our newest Nexus phones here. We’re looking forward to the Nexus 5X and 6P delivering premium experiences for Indian users, demonstrating what is possible when innovative hardware, thoughtful design, and the latest Android software all come together.”
The LG Nexus 5X will be available for INR 31,900 and INR 35,900 for the 16 GB and the 32 GB variants respectively while the Huawei Nexus 6P comes in a little costly being the flagship for INR 39,999 and INR 42,999 for the 32 GB and the 64 GB variants respectively. The devices are up for pre-ordering on Flipkart and Amazon.
