1. Check your blog as a reader not as a blog admin. In this time you have to notice which place are being pop up at first after opening an article. Mark those places. So, keeping this in mind, you can place this banner just above or below the whole article. It may help your visitor to find the related ad content.
3. PUT AN AD BANNER BETWEEN TWO WIDGET IN YOUR SIDEBAR. You can find Google AdSense ads between two widgets in every site. It seems quite helpful for bloggers to increase the AdSense revenue from their blog. If you place a 300*250 ad banner between two widgets, your visitors can find it easily when they want to find some more posts or even going to subscribe your blog or making a search in your blog. If you put a text only ad at this position, I think this will help you very much.
