You know that WordPress is the most reliable blogging software that could be used in two different versions i.e. WordPress.Com and WordPress.Org. Anyway, if you are using WordPress.Org, you can do most of things in two different methods i.e. with coding and without coding. Why you should redirect the feed?
If you are using Google Blogger, Feedburner automatically generates a feed for corresponding BlogSpot blog with the email by which you have created the Google Blogger account. But if you are using WordPress, you will need to generate your feed manually. But before that WordPress uses their own default feed (http://www.yourdomain.com/feed). But this is not so helpful for your readers when they will go to subscribe your blog using feed because the feed shows as .XML and it has no subscribe option. So, if someone enters yourdomain.com/feed, he /she will not get anything.
So, to give the subscribe option, you could redirect WordPress default feed to Feedburner.com feed. It will be done either with plugin or without any plugin (Follow this guide to do it without any plugin.). And today I am going to show you how you can made this redirection by making use of a plugin.
How to redirect WordPress default feed to feedburner.com feed?
Meet FD Feedburner that will do everything. You can install it either from WordPress dashboard or you can upload this plugin in your Plugin directory. After activating it, navigate “Feedburner” under “Settings”. Then enter your personal Feedburner feed url and check any radio according to your wish.
